Golden Hour CustardFRESH-PULLED FROZEN CUSTARD

Denser, creamier, and richer than ice cream — churned slow, pulled to order, and served at the golden hour.

Launching August 2026 · Inland Empire, CA

Why "Golden Hour"

Back east and through the Midwest, frozen custard isn't really dessert. It's where the evening ends.

The game finishes. Everybody piles into the car still in uniform, grass stains and all, and drives to the custard stand. Neighbors walk down after dinner. The line runs out the door and nobody minds, because the light has gone gold and there's nowhere else to be.

That hour is the tradition — not the cone, the hour. It's what we named ourselves after.

You can find frozen custard in California if you look. What hasn't made it west is the ritual. That's what we're bringing.

What makes it custard

Frozen custard is ice cream's richer cousin. Made with real egg yolk and higher butterfat, churned slowly so it folds in far less air than ordinary soft serve.

The result is denser, silkier, and served a few degrees warmer — creamy on the spoon instead of icy. Pulled fresh to order from the machine, never scooped from a tub.

If you grew up on it in Wisconsin or on a Jersey boardwalk, you already know. If you haven't had it yet, you're in for something.

Made close to home

Our custard base is produced by a California dairy in Chino — a few miles from the markets we serve.
